Production Manager

Required Profile:

We are looking for a dynamic, versatile, and bilingual individual with concrete experience in clothing production management and a strong affinity for the BODYBAG by Jude brand.

The ideal applicant must be motivated and comfortable communicating both orally and in writing with team members and suppliers in both national languages.

The tasks are varied and spread across several fields of action:

Production Management:

  • Compile sales data and plan purchases of raw materials.
  • Purchase raw materials from various suppliers.
  • Monitor the receipt of raw materials.
  • Manage the production schedule with subcontractors.
  • Oversee the production process with subcontractors.
  • Assist in the development, approval, and production of new collections.
  • Control the quality of raw materials and finished products throughout the production chain.
  • Prepare accessories for subcontractors.
  • Verify quantities and quality control of merchandise received from subcontractors and prepare for distribution.

 Technical Responsibilities:

  • Create technical drawings of styles.
  • Prepare cutting sheets.

 Important Details:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required in a similar position.
  • Degree in Fashion Production Management.
  • Highly organized and able to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Illustrator software is essential.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • A valid driver's license (a car is an asset).
  • Good understanding of patterns and garment construction.

INTERNSHIP OFFER

Workshop Assistant:
We are currently welcoming interns who have started a training in fashion to help with certain workshop tasks such as: cutting patterns, cutting fabrics, follow-up of samples, help in the preparation of production and quality control.

Sales and Marketing:
We are currently welcoming interns who have started a marketing training to help with some related tasks such as: community management, prospecting, distribution and shipping assistance, website updating, branding, preparing merchandise for events and participating in various events (depending on the period).
